A tidbit about the grape(s)/wine style
WT Vintners is a Woodinville, WA-based winery that makes excellent wine in the old world style from some of the best vineyards in WA. The head winemaker and partner owner, Jeff Lindsay-Thorson, is also the head sommelier at the Michael Mina's Seattle hot-spot, RN74. Although they have recently branched out to a variety of wines, WT specializes in Rhône grapes, and has won many accolades for it's various single vineyard Syrahs. WT was also one of the first wineries in WA state to make stunning wine from Grüner Veltliner, a grape made famous in Austria. This year's vintage is racier than ever, and hard to put down.
