Ingredients

1 package Puff Pastry, frozen (2 sheets)

.5 lb Fresh strawberries

 4 Tbsp Grated Parmesan Cheese

Salt & Pepper

Melted Butter

Chocolate chips

Fresh Basil, sliced and whole leaves

 

Instructions

Pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Thaw puff pastry sheet for approximately 30 minutes before handling. Have some melted butter handy, use some to grease a sheet pan and set aside. Use cookie cutters for fun shapes, or simply cut the puff pastry into squares, place all pieces of puff pastry on the sheet pan with a small amount of distance between. Apply some butter before applying toppings. Slice or mince the strawberries. Chiffonade the basil. Use all ingredients or a combination of to top the puff pastry. Bake for approximately 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Place on a rack to cool for 5 minutes before consuming.
