A tidbit about the grape(s)/wine style

Elentone takes its name from the winemaker, Chris Sherry's, hometown in England. These sparklers are made using the same laborious traditional methods of Champagne, with secondary fermentation occurring in the bottle and extended lees aging. The grapes are grown in Lake Chelan, Washington State.

Grapes: 78% Chardonnay, 22% Pinot Noir

Region: Kailexsie Vineyard, Lake Chelan, Washington State, USA

Aging: 42 mo bottle aging

RS: 4 g/L

Alcohol: 12.5% abv

Tasting Notes: The wine has bright tropical aromas, notably pineapple with hints of lemon and grapefruit. There is light brioche, green apple, toasted walnut and coconut on the palette. Enough acid keeps the finish fresh.
