Domaine Grégoire Hoppenot Morgon Corcelette Gamay

A tidbit about the grape(s)/wine style

Domaine Grégoire Hoppenot LogoThe first vintage of Domaine Grégoire Hoppenot wines was in 2018. The vineyards are in organic conversion in Beaujolais, made with whole cluster fermentation in concrete, in a style the attempts to let the terrior shine through.

Grapes: Gamay
Region:  Morgon, Beaujolais, France
Alcohol: 12.5% abv
Tasting Notes:  Red and black currant predominate with tart raspberry and blackberry following. Earthy notes, a hint of cinnamon and a dusty undertone brings balance to the silky fruit. Although it pairs well with life, its vibrant acidity makes this wine a perfect match for food.
Food Pairings: Pork tenderloin, crispy skin duck, roast turkey, bread stuffing
